Richmond Dickey ‘13 Studies and Interns in Aalen, Germany
Richmond Dickey (M.A. Global Policy/International Trade & Commerce ’13) recently enjoyed a tremendous opportunity studying and interning in Aalen, Germany. While studying international business, he worked as a consultant for Sonplas GmbH, an automotive robotics test bench manufacturer, where his primary task was to conduct a market research study on the Canadian and American automotive industries. One of the many perks of Rich’s internship was a trip to Straubing, Germany to tour the company’s production facility and observe the manufacturing process. Rich considers the practical, first-hand knowledge and experience gained while working within an international context an important part of his education and personal development, which has prepared him for work overseas.
