Mandy Barrington

Mandy Barrington is a second year graduate student in the Master of Global Policy program at the University of Maine’s School of Policy and International Affairs.  A Maine-native, she received her undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education at Taylor University of Indiana in 2013. She has spent time teaching in Ethiopia, Taiwan, Ireland, and Maine.  Throughout her studies and work experience she has become interested in the movement of people in a globalized world and the creation of appropriate policies in response.  After graduating she hopes to continue working on elements of immigration policy in the United States and be a part of the work being done to reform it.
